A new programme which will provide over 150 residents with the relevant skills, experience and interviews they need to gain employment started in October. The Skillup for Employment programme, delivered by One Housing and Learning Curve Group, bridges the gap between residents who are unemployed and job vacancies with local businesses.

LCG set up their Charity Foundation in 2019 and is built on 3 main pillars: increasing skills, decreasing unemployment, and alleviating poverty. Since the foundation began the training provider, headquartered in Durham, has raised over £80,000 to support organisations and individuals across the country.
