Our top apprenticeships

  • This qualification is for learners who are interested in, or are new to working in, adult social care in England, and covers a range of key areas of knowledge applicable to working in the sector. It allows learners to gain broad-based training in the chosen occupational area, and provides a good knowledge base of the sector as a whole, work experience that leads to competency in the work place, and transferable skills. Its aim is to inform, guide and assess the development of knowledge and skills relating to the health and social care workforce.


  • This qualification is for learners who are interested in, or are new to working in, adult social care in England. It covers a range of key areas of knowledge applicable to working in the sector. It is suitable for those working in some lone worker or supervisory care roles in social care settings. Its aim is to inform, guide and assess the development of knowledge and skills relating to the health and social care workforce.


  • This qualification provides learners with the knowledge and skills to operate as a successful manager. It also allows them to develop skills in a range of areas relevant to managerial roles, such as communication, presentation skills and project management.


  • This is a cross sector qualification aimed at current and prospective team leaders. The qualification covers the skills and knowledge needed to be a successful team leader, covering competencies applicable to a wide range of contexts.


  • This is a cross-sector qualification, undertaken by people working in a leadership and management role, and those with personal responsibility and autonomy in their roles across a variety of disciplines. They will have the ability and the opportunity within their job to demonstrate a wide range of recognisable management and leadership skills and the management of business processes. This qualification may also suit individuals whose work is mainly related to managing projects or technical matters, as well as those who manage people.


  • This qualification gives learners the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed to deliver customer service in a range of industries and contexts.


  • This qualification is for those working in a role where the option of further training and education is available.


  • This qualification is for learners working in, or looking to work in, a business administration role or similar.


  • This qualification is for learners working in a business improvement role who wish to assess their knowledge and understanding through a formal certification route. It is also suitable for learners new to business improvement who need to confirm practical understanding and application of skills and for those who require a fundamental understanding of business improvement practices.


  • This qualification is designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace where learners are required to demonstrate skills and knowledge to a level required in the engineering industry.


  • This framework is aimed at managers and senior practitioners working in health and social care. Learners should ideally have achieved qualifications in related areas at level 3 or above.

  • This qualification is suitable for Healthcare Support Workers working as part of a team to provide high quality and compassionate care to individuals. Apprentices may work in a range of healthcare settings, such as hospitals, community clinics, health centres, individuals’ homes, nursing/care homes, hospices, mental health settings and GP surgeries, carrying out routine clinical and non-clinical duties. This apprenticeship is an integrated programme, designed to support the acquisition of key knowledge and skills, as well as the development of core behaviours expected of a competent support worker.

It is ideal for management staff with responsibilities including supporting, managing and developing team members, managing projects, planning and monitoring workloads and resources, delivering operational plans, resolving problems and building relationships internally and externally.

It is ideal for mangers with responsibilities such as creating and delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading teams, managing change, financial and resource management, talent management, coaching and mentoring.

It is ideal for customer service professionals who deal with customers through one-off or routine contacts, which could include managing customer queries, dealing with orders/payments, offering advice, guidance and support, meet-and-greet, sales, fixing problems, aftercare, service recovery or gaining insight through measuring customer satisfaction.


  • This qualification is designed for those working in a role which concentrates on preparing and cooking food from fresh/raw ingredients. Apprentices may be cooking in any restaurant or catering outlet that serves freshly prepared and cooked food, which could include specialist, ethnic or fine dining restaurants, production kitchens, event catering or any sites catering for employees, clients or customers. This apprenticeship is suitable for those individuals looking to start out on a career in the hospitality and catering industry, as well as those already in employment.


  • This qualification is designed for all hospitality staff who serve food and drinks in any type of outlet, as part of their normal job role. Apprentices may be working in a wide range of outlets, including fine dining restaurants, catering eateries, school canteens, care homes and contract catering sites. This apprenticeship is suitable for those individuals looking to start a career in food and beverage service, as well as those already in employment.


  • This qualification is designed for bar supervisors typically working in pubs, nightclubs, hotels, restaurants and resorts to oversee the effective running of the bar, ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining an exceptional standard of delivery and professionalism whilst achieving profitability in line with budget. It is expected that apprentices will be working in an operational role within the industry before commencing this apprenticeship standard.


  • This training programme is ideal for individuals working across a wide range of job roles, in both large and small firms and in industry, practice and public sectors. As well as ensuring full competency as an Assistant Accountant, this standard provides the foundation for progression into a number of career paths in the Accounting sector, including Audit Trainee, Recovery Analyst, Credit Controller and Tax Accountant.
