An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Business Administration Assistant, ideally with some administration experience to join one of the longest established law firms. The role will offer practical administration experience whilst running simultaneously with an apprenticeship in Business Administration which the company will support.

Duties will include:

  • Opening files on practice management system
  • Undertaking Solicitors Regulation Authority checks on law firms
  • Photocopying
  • Corresponding with clients and/or other law firms by e-mail, letter or telephone to maintain file progression
  • Ordering property searches
  • Preparing completion reports and submitting to client
  • Applying to Land Registry to register completed documents
  • Scheduling completed documents and forwarding these to client
  • Closing and archiving files and updating computer systems
