Key Responsibilities

The role will be multifaceted with duties including administration, reception, works control and stock control. This role will be fast paced, with no two days being the same and will give you the opportunity to learn new skills and build upon existing ones. We are looking for a confident, self-motivated, and enthusiastic person with a readiness to learn.  

Main Duties:

  Administration and Reception:

- Filing paperwork
- Creating company documents
- Taking meeting minutes
- Produce and distribute memos
- Maintain contact lists and company data
- Generate reports for senior members of staff
- Receiving parcels from couriers
- Logging deliveries, checking off delivery notes
- Preparing post
- Scheduling meetings
- Provide general assistance to visitors

Works Controller:

You will be fulfilling the role of Works Controller 2 days a week, duties will include:

- Allocating service calls and engineer visits
- Closing down service calls

Stock Control:

- Maintaining stock levels
- Inventory of stock

Desired skills

- Confident telephone manner
- IT Skills – Word and Excel
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Well-organised with attention to detail

Personal qualities

- A self-motivated, enthusiastic personality
- Can do attitude
- Readiness to learn

Desired qualifications
- A*-C / 9-4 in GCSE English and maths

Future prospects
- The successful applicant will have the opportunity to stay on as a full-time member of staff upon completion of the apprenticeship
