Course overview

Learners will gain knowledge of the different types of schools and colleges in the education sector, understanding the organisation of schools and colleges in terms of roles and responsibilities. Learn about the range and purpose of school and college policies and procedures and understand how schools and colleges uphold their aims and values. Learners will understand the significant stages of development for children and young people from birth to 19 years of age. Find out how the teacher plans learning activities and monitor children and young people’s participation and progress.

Eligibility

  • Aged 19 or over at the start of your course
  • Lived in the UK for at least 3 Years
  • Have a National Insurance Number
  • Based in the Tees Valley
