This role requires an experienced administrator to support our Young People’s Provision across the North East. Our provision provides young people quality learning and development opportunities to develop their skills, re-engage with education, build confidence and resilience and gain work experience with employers. We work with young people who are at risk of disengaging from education or have disengaged due to multiple barriers to learning. Therefore, the suitable candidate will be understanding of the learners needs as well as resilient in supporting them to complete necessary paperwork. Whilst based at Head Office you will also be required to provide administration and support services with the requirement to travel across the North East to complete enrolments and any other additional administrative duties required. With that in mind, you will be able to claim travel expenses for travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete enrolment paperwork with learners face to face in schools and at community venues.
  • To be responsible for tracking and monitoring Data input of student data onto MIS system and update as required
  • To monitor and track attendance on a weekly basis across the North East
  • Liaise with employers and tutors regarding student attendance and bursary issues.
  • Establish and coordinate learner’s funding paperwork files and ensure audit compliance.
  • To Quality Check for errors and complete mid programme audits on timesheets, registers and progress reviews
  • Attend all team meetings
  • Coordinate the administration of the learners’ disciplinary processes.
  • To provide administration support to Delivery Manager and delivery staff
  • To prepare weekly stats for the Delivery Manager reports
  • Assist in the promotion and scheduling of recruitment and interview activities.
  • Deal with learner enquiries in a timely manner
  • Prepare for open events and taster sessions
  • Arrange student transport as required
  • Liaise with parents regarding learner matters as required
  • Liaise with school/college/employers regarding learner paperwork
  • Arranging purchase orders and ordering resources
  • General administration and housekeeping duties
  • Conduct your role in line with the company values and expected behaviours

  • Excellent communication skills both face to face and remote (including with young people with significant barriers to education)
  • Experience in administration 
  • Excellent IT skills including full knowledge of all Microsoft packages
  • Ability to work unsupervised and work well as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good time management skills
