Introduction

A brand new and exciting role has been created within the Skills Department in Head Office, which will oversee the induction and IAG process for learners, ensuring they are provided with a quality learning experience whilst undertaking a qualification. Within the role you will be working closely with the Inductions team and Customer Care Team, leading by example and continuously work to ensure employees performance is reviewed regularly against company KPI’s.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage induction and initial IAG process for both online and face to face delivery within the Skills division
  • Manage the Advanced Learner Loans application process within the Skills division
  • Set and monitor KPIs including analysing and producing reports ensuring budgeted KPIs are exceeded
  • Ensure every learner receives robust IAG and ongoing support
  • Establish and maintain staff induction and ongoing training and development plan
  • Manage and signpost the initial ALS process for leaners requiring assistance
  • Ensure the induction and Customer Care teams have adequate training and resources to carry out their key tasks and responsibilities
  • Review, revise and continuously improve the learner journey for our customers
  • Drive continual process improvements and implement best practices to manage projects efficiently

You’ll need these important qualities
  • Experience in driving outstanding IAG and providing a quality service to customers 
  • Outstanding people management and inspirational leadership skills
  • Adaptable and able to work under pressure 
  • The ability to prioritise and plan the team’s workload to achieve KPI’s 


Essential Criteria
  • Level 3 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance
  • Experience in performance management of staff and creating training plans
