Covers a range of carpentry and joinery skills and provides knowledge in line with the trade. Learners will also develop an understanding of the health and safety requirements for working in the construction industry.

Learners will be able to further develop their skills and knowledge in Carpentry and Joinery. They will study the Principles of construction - Structural carpentry - Non-structural carpentry Timber technology and the use of power tools. This also includes door hanging and fitting kitchen methods.

Using timber products to create and install building components.

Build on skills, knowledge and understanding in health and safety, tiling, wallpapering, basic plumbing and carpentry.
