Meet The Team
With a background spanning teaching, assessment and senior roles in education technology, I specialise in guiding organisations towards eLearning solutions that truly meet their learners’ needs. I’ve supported clients across the education and skills sector, from multi-academy trusts to national training providers. I’m passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and work closely with partners to ensure our solutions make a measurable difference.
Driving innovation in digital learning at LCG, I lead a dynamic team of instructional designers, proofreaders and UX specialists to deliver exceptional eLearning and content solutions. Passionate about creating impactful, accessible learning, I ensure every product reflects excellence and industry best practice.
I manage the support team for our EdTech solutions. This includes our bespoke LMS – eAssessor Pro, career planning platform – CareersPro and web platform that helps to collect and track learner destinations – DestinationsPro. Our clients can range from colleges or independent training providers looking for a system to host their course materials or need help creating the course materials themselves, or I have worked with business customers who wanted to move their CPD packages online for their staff. I am enthusiastic about finding a solution that works for everyone.
I am responsible for the development, publishing and use of all online and paper-based learning materials and all tutor materials; essentially, anything a tutor needs to teach or a learner needs to learn! I’ve worked with a huge number of clients on a very wide range of topics, from domestic abuse and deaf empowerment charities, to South African companies publishing water treatment programmes. We’ve created content for programmes in aseptic pharmaceuticals, working on wind turbines and everything in between! I truly care deeply about creating learning that is supportive, human and empowering, because I know how much the right guidance can transform a person’s journey. This is why we put so much effort and care into every word we write.
My role is about bringing the right people together to produce high-quality learning content. I have worked on niche and bespoke projects all the way through to developments with large national employers. I work with the Curriculum team and external stakeholders to ensure we have the best possible resources available based on sector expertise.
I am the Senior Proofreader and Content Editor at LCG. Along with my trusty proofing team, we are responsible for making sure that all content is perfect in terms of spelling, grammar, punctuation and syntax. Where needed, we’ll fact-check and edit to make the written words the best they can be.
I’m currently on a six-month secondment from MIS Audit and Certification. I am delighted to join the team as reading, writing and editing are my passions. I plan to use this opportunity to advance my career in the field. I joined LCG three years ago; in that time, I’ve developed a good understanding of the education sector and the MIS department in particular. I’m currently working towards my QLS L4 Diploma in Proofreading and Editing with the College of Media and Publishing.
As a proofreader, alongside Anna and Jonny, I read our curriculum content and ensure that it’s grammatically correct, up to date with legislation and aligned with our learners’ understanding – whatever brings the content to a high standard! My academic background (through my English degree from Durham University) means I really care about accuracy, word flow and ensuring our learners can access high-quality learning materials. I also communicate with our external authors to ensure that the curriculum content is compatible with LCG’s house style and values.
I work mainly dealing with tickets from external and internal people with queries about eAssessor Pro. I can handle a variety of different questions and requests related to the platform and enjoy that no two days have the same jobs to do.
I specialise in eLearning development and support with proofreading and editing. I’ve worked on projects such as Access to HE, Enrichment and Functional Skills Maths and English. My key skills include eLearning development, writing, research, proofreading and editing.
I specialise in designing engaging, learner-centred courses in Rise. I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, from college groups to charities, delivering solutions tailored to their goals and audiences. I’m passionate about designing eLearning that engages, motivates and genuinely benefits each learner.
I specialise in UX design, web design, graphic design, animation, video/sound production and artificial intelligence, both virtual and augmented realities. Previous to Learning Curve Group, I have worked as a Digital Designer for over 25 years for some of the region’s top design and advertising agencies, as well as software consultancies working for BBC, ITV, NHS, BP, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Bank, Nomura Bank, Newcastle City Council, Gateshead Council, Blyth Valley Council, Darlington Council and END. Clothing.
I specialise in digital illustrations for our online content and have worked with a number of external clients to collaborate on different projects; for example, working with Ascentis to create different learning resources. I am passionate about design, having found my love, specifically, for digital design during school.
I specialise in desktop publishing, finding creative ways to manage and solve product development and maintenance. Mainly focusing on flexible learning, but also working closely with other internal teams, such as MPCT and Academies, as well as working with external clients to create bespoke digital and print products.
I lead the team providing support to customers using our eAssessor Pro system. I’ve been at LCG since 2021 and have worked with eAssessor Pro since its earliest iterations, so I’ve worked on a lot of projects that have expanded its functionality, like Access to HE and Multiply. My emphasis is always on solving problems quickly and efficiently, and I find the opportunity to interact with all kinds of organisations outside LCG very rewarding.
I specialise in creative eLearning design that focuses on giving the learner an engaging and manageable content journey, which then allows them to gain the knowledge and skills they need. I have collaborated with a wide range of clients in my role, such as local and national charities, external training providers, councils, providers within the medical sector and LCG apprenticeships. My main aim is to use my creative design and teaching skills to develop learning materials that are interesting and relevant to our learners to ensure they achieve a positive outcome.
Digging into facts and figures is the key part of my role, from a deep dive into opportunities around green jobs and skills, to identifying potential skills gaps and growth industries in devolved regions across the country. It really keeps things interesting, whilst knowing that this deeper understanding can help to ensure we are continuing to create the best content for our clients and learners.
• I specialise in the development and editing of online eLearning materials. • Have worked with the BBC, MoD, KPMG, NHS and the Royal Colleges of Surgeons and Anaesthetists. Key skills or expertise: • eLearning content creation • learning pathway design • assessment design • internal and external verification.
• Managing the introduction of new learning programmes into LCG. • Maintaining current learning programmes being delivered in LCG. • Main projects: o managing the Aptem system for apprenticeships o rebranding of training materials to LCG livery o creating additional training materials for the employability sector. • To ensure that the projects we work on are successful, it is essential that we liaise with the Operations teams to confirm that the learning programmes are in line with the delivery requirements of those who deliver the training programmes.
I specialise in Aptem. I’ve worked on a rebuild of all apprenticeship programmes in the new tenancy and ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of Aptem. I am organised, efficient and responsive to client needs. Key skills or expertise: • all things Aptem • development of teaching and learning resources • eLearning creation (not my main role, but I do quite a lot of it) • sound knowledge of the education sector, including apprenticeships.

I have worked with Learning Curve Group over several projects in the past few years, including SDF and LSIF Tees Valley, and throughout all projects I have found the team to be responsive, accurate, efficient and impactful. Their contribution to activities has always been positive and outcomes have always been strong. Thank you for all the help and support over our various projects
Alan Jones
Assistant Principal, Darlington College
We identified a need to transform one of our in-house courses into an asynchronous programme to reach a wider audience of teachers. LCG offered to support this, and we thought it was a great opportunity to trial their approach. We chose LCG because of their strong track record in online learning and previous experience with their resources, which had proven effective and popular with learners. Working with their team was a very positive experience as they were responsive, collaborative, and flexible throughout the project. While the project required more of our time than initially anticipated, the outcome was well worth it. We would absolutely work with LCG again and are keen to continue our partnership strategically in the future.
Jo Swindells
Executive Director of Development and Delivery, Education and Training Foundation
Working with Learning Curve Group on the LSIF projects was a genuinely collaborative and rewarding experience. From the outset, their team demonstrated a deep understanding of digital content development, combining creativity with a strong grasp of educational outcomes. What stood out most was their commitment to quality and their proactive, solutions-focused approach. Throughout the project, communication was clear, consistent, and constructive. We worked together seamlessly to co-design engaging, learner-centred materials that not only met the brief but often exceeded expectations. Their flexibility and responsiveness made the process efficient and enjoyable, and their attention to detail ensured that every piece of content was both pedagogically sound and visually impactful. Learning Curve Group brought a positive energy to the project that made a real difference - they were not just a supplier, but a true partner in delivering meaningful digital learning solutions. I’d gladly work with them again and highly recommend their expertise to others.

I had a very positive experience working with LCG and the team during the SDF/LSIF projects. The collaboration was highly productive, with clear communication, well-structured processes, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality content. The Education team at North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust worked with the LCG team to develop some bespoke learning packages. From start to finish the team were incredibly professional, working collaboratively with us to develop and refine the content so it met our exact requirements. The fantastic support from the team has been ongoing since implementation of our e-learning packages, including hosting the learning via their LMS with ongoing support to use the system and extract data as needed to support our work. Feedback from our learners has been really positive, both in terms of content and ease of access.
