Unsure where to start?

Deciding you're future career isn't easy, whether you are leaving school or college, looking to upskill or changing careers we have lots of options to help you make the big decisions. Here are some frequently asked questions which might help.

No. We will make sure that you work at a level that is suitable for you.

Yes, almost all of the training on offer is free due to the course being partly funded by the European Social Fund, Adult Education Budget and other associated funding streams.

For those aged 16-19 you may be eligible for a training bursary or allowance depending on which country you live in. For those that complete an apprenticeship, you will earn whilst you learn with an hourly rate and wage.

If you're aged 18 or over and live in a London borough. Once you are enrolled at your Academy, you can apply online through TfL by clicking here.

You will receive individual career advice whilst on the course to help you with your vocational choices.

Unlike traditional colleges, you can start anytime during the year. We have courses running across the entire calendar year.

It depends on the course and programme you enrol on.

Apprenticeships run for 12-18 months. Study programmes run for 6-12 months.

We also have a variety of short adult courses that can run anywhere from 2 days to 6 weeks.

Learner Support Academy

Our Learner Support Coaches are there to advise and support learners facing personal or learning challenges, to support them in successfully completing their training and transitioning into their chosen career.

  • Financial Support information, completing applications and guidance on the next steps.
  • Advice, guidance and signposting as required.
  • Attendance issues and any issues that arise whilst studying.

The team are available to talk to you between 9am - 7pm Monday - Thursday, and 9am - 4:30pm on Friday and are looking forward to your call.
