Introduction

In this all-round marketing role, you will take responsibility for the promotion of our Skills Academy (Hair and Beauty) programmes across the North East and London. You will support the Marketing Coordinator for the provision, being their ‘go-to’ person for delivering marketing activity to relevant audiences of businesses and predominantly direct to potential learners. You will work with the Marketing Coordinator and Operational Heads of Departments and at our 7 (and growing) academies to create a rolling plan of activity in line with the agreed marketing strategy for the provision, reporting return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

With a strong bias for paid social advertising and design, you will manage the planning, budgeting and implementation of paid advertising across social media on behalf of our academies to generate learner interest, answer questions via messaging services of said social platforms and pass warm leads over to internal Academy teams to enrol. The role will also see you measuring the success of your campaigns to ensure the delivery of a positive return on investment, weekly and monthly reports and monthly visits to all academies which means a valid driving license and vehicle is a must (all mileage repaid at 0.45 per mile)

The role will also encompass, but is not limited to, organic social, search ads, email, developing content, PR, print (brochures/flyers), events and any other appropriate marketing activity that will deliver the required outcome.

You will work closely with your peers in the marketing team to ensure a holistic approach ensuring messages are appropriate and has the recipient at the centre of all communications.

Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and/or interest or experience in hair and beauty.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Ownership of marketing activity for specific provision/s
  • Working with colleagues to create and deliver successful cross-channel marketing plans
  • Designing and developing campaigns and collaterals
  • Working with colleagues to research and write content for marketing materials, website, news stories and press releases
  • Ensure all marketing materials, including website etc, for your provision/s are kept up to date
  • Work closely with peers to deliver appropriate activity
  • Ensure literature adheres to set brand guidelines
  • Supporting the wider marketing team/company as and when required
  • Assist with internal and external events where appropriate
  • Taking the lead on measuring and reporting return on investment for your provision/s
  • Competitor analysis and reporting
  • Communicate with external stakeholders and clients in a positive and productive way
  • Comply with the company’s policy and procedures and maintain close liaison with all departments on activities.
  • Conduct your role in line with the company values and expected behaviours.
  • Implement and comply with the Safeguarding and Health and Safety Policies
  • Ensure the maintenance of confidentially and professionalism at all time.
