Covers health and safety; client consultation; shampoo and conditioning hair; working in the hair industry; basic cutting including facial hair and styling men's hair.

The qualification builds on existing knowledge and understanding of hairdressing and develops more detailed and enhanced technical skills. Covers how to creatively style and dress hair, cut hair using a combination of techniques, colour and lighten hair and provide client consultation services.
