John brings 13 years of expertise in Apprenticeships and work-based learning, transitioning from a thriving career in risk and finance to steering a consultative approach in crafting comprehensive learning and development strategies. This extensive experience equips him to provide guidance on optimising available finances for apprenticeships, harnessing the apprenticeship levy, non-levy funding, and levy transfers for optimal outcomes.

His journey in apprenticeships commenced as a Business Development Manager and evolved into the role of Head of Apprenticeship Sales, spanning across 50 standards in diverse sectors such as Early Years, Business, Management, Accountancy, Health & Social Care, Recruitment, Digital, Construction, and most recently, Housing and Property.

Joining Learning Curve Group as a Senior Business Development Manager in the Housing and Property, John has devoted this time to refining his expertise in this specialised domain. This immersion has honed his skills, enabling him to navigate the intricacies of the sector adeptly. His knowledge encompasses CIH and IRPM best practices within Social Housing, Block Management, and Estates Agency, positioning him as a standout professional in the field.

As Business Development Manager for Housing at Learning Curve Group, Alex plays a key role in helping to shape the future of education and training across the housing sector through building strategic partnerships and working with providers to understand training needs. Her work focuses on responding to evolving regulatory requirements, specifically the competence and conduct standard, ensuring that learning and development programmes align with an increasingly diverse housing landscape. By embedding these standards into practice, Alex supports housing providers in developing workforces that are skilled and equipped to meet the demands of modern housing provision. 

Alex is also the Lead Associate at Addressing Domestic Abuse (ADA C.I.C), delivering awareness and training to housing providers and charities on recognising and responding to domestic abuse. 

Max specialises in understanding complex organisational needs, such as navigating regulatory compliance while delivering tailored workforce strategies through apprenticeship and accredited training pathways.

Having completed two apprenticeships himself, Max understands the learner journey firsthand and appreciates the profound impact that high-quality vocational education can have on career progression. This personal insight, combined with professional experience within the training sector, allows him to help housing providers seamlessly navigate funding, maximise their levy, and build confident, compliant teams that drive the sector forward.
