Internal Alternative Academic Vocational Training (IAAVT)
Embracing each student's individuality and potential for success
As a national leader in education solutions, we specialize in providing Secondary Schools with innovative, in-school programs designed to meet the diverse needs of students.
Our flagship initiative, the Internal Alternative Academic Vocational Training (IAAVT) program, offers a truly unique, 360-degree approach to support students—focusing on keeping them engaged in the mainstream school environment.
Our IAAVT program delivers:
We help students thrive academically and personally, resulting in measurable improvements in engagement and performance.
Our integrative counsellors provide holistic emotional support, helping students navigate personal challenges while remaining in school.
We specialize in re-engaging students who may have disconnected from the learning process, giving them the tools to succeed.
Through targeted intervention, we work to prevent exclusions and keep students in a supportive learning environment.
Our approach helps schools manage classroom behavior more effectively, creating a better environment for all learners.
We offer tailored support to meet the needs of neurodiverse students, ensuring they receive the guidance and resources they deserve.
Alongside our vocational curriculum, we provide the necessary academic support for students to achieve GCSE qualifications.
Our program aims to reduce the number of students placed in inclusion units, helping them stay engaged with their learning and minimizing lost learning time.
By offering a meaningful alternative to suspensions, we work to reduce suspension rates, enhancing student engagement and academic attainment.

Offer includes:
Reflective Development Sessions which are integral to our IAAVT program, fostering key life skills such as empathy, honesty, resilience, respect, and integrity. Every student benefits from at least one reflective session, helping them grow both personally and academically.
Solutions for your school
We offer flexible solutions for schools, whether by deploying our expert staff to manage and reintegrate students into the mainstream setting or by providing the tools and oversight for schools to establish their own internal provision. With years of experience in both internal and external alternative provision, we’re committed to helping every student succeed in their unique educational journey.
"Dare to be different, Dare to be bold, Dare to be YOU" our motto reflects our commitment to embracing each student's individuality and potential for success.

What are partners say...

The course enables learners to develop these values by pushing themselves out of their comfort zones at times in a supportive and positive environment.

LCG Schools are extremely conscientious and aware of potential safeguarding concerns arising with learners. Staff always swiftly and effectively address issues and concerns and keep the school in the loop at all times.
Ysgol Harri Tudur

We are delighted with the provision. All students have made progress and responded very well to the tutors. There is clear communication between the tutor and school staff, which is vital for this type of provision to work successfully.
Haverfordwest High School

This programme is developing our learners' confidence and improving their interactions with peers and staff. The most pleasing aspect is that they are developing a more positive outlook towards their education and prospects.
