Introduction

This role requires you to be a motivated, self-driven person and to recruit learners of all ages onto Military Preparation course and other Study Programmes that will enable effective and timely transition towards chosen employment. You will actively engage with a wide range of referral agents, such as, schools, colleges, DWP, employment, housing agencies and Military Carriers Information Offices to identify development opportunities. From these contacts and relationships you will identify learner needs and inform responsive curriculum development specifically to meet these demands. The role also requires you to develop progression opportunities and to support learners’ transition into Military or civilian employment. The role also involves the development of successful relationships with local training providers and referral bodies. It is essential that you have:  Excellent communication at all levels (especially talking to young people)  Excellent self-motivation and initiative  Excellent customer service skills  Sales and marketing experience including cold calling  Good organisations skills  Confidence in communicating with a broad range of partners/stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Developing and maintaining effective and productive relationships with external organisations
  2. Identifying and promoting courses to learners and learner referral sources
  3. Interviewing potential learners and providing them with accurate information, advice and guidance along with keeping records of all of the above activities
  4. Carrying out initial assessment activities, identify individual learner support requirements and communicate to the relevant colleagues
  5. Maintaining the learner tracking details for each of the courses and effectively communicating with the relevant tutors and assessors to collate all of this information
  6. Liaise with Military stakeholders, organising  employability days, carers advice and guidance events supporting learner progression
  7. To identify and engage in communication with local employment partnership groups to promote our services and identify employment opportunities
  8. Responding to client enquiries and providing support to their requirements
  9. Attending promotions and career event days at clients premises when required and promoting the companies services to potential students
  10. Attending careers & open day events in order to promote Learning Curve Group/MPCT
  11. Maintaining contact with learners during their training to identify where support may be needed
  12. Accurately and timely completion of all recruitment documentation
  13. Effectively communicating with other staff members about day to day activities
  14. Conduct your role in line with the company value and expected behaviours
  15. Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company
  16. Comply with the Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety Policies and to be vigilant to potential concerns and risks
  17. Ensure confidentially and professionalism at all times

  • Able to travel within the region of employment and on occasion outside the region to meet the demands of the business
  • Ability to work on own and self-motivated

  • Good experience of administration necessary
  • IT skills are essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Car licence as the role is field based and requires travel.
