We have 55 Skills Academies based across England and Wales.
40 Military and Fitness, 12 Hair and Beauty, 2 Construction and 1 Skills Academy (offers both Construction & Hair and Beauty programmes).
We offer a range of courses from Level 1 to Level 3 awards, certificates and diplomas, accessed through government funding and Advanced Learner Loans.
We also offer pathways toward apprenticeship and further learning.
No. We will make sure that you work at a level that is suitable for you.
Yes, almost all of the training on offer is free due to the course being partly funded by the European Social Fund, Adult Skills Fund and other associated funding streams. Some courses may not be funded but can be paid for with an Advanced Learner Loan. We know that can sound confusing, but we can help you figure out what's best for you.
For those aged 16-19 you may be eligible for a training bursary or allowance depending on which country you live in.
If you're aged 18 or over and live in a London borough. Once you are enrolled at your Academy, you can apply online through TfL by clicking here.
