Course Content

  • Teaching a variety of learners, individuals and groups
  • Delivering, assessing and using resources for education and training
  • Assessing occupational competence in the work environment
  • Assessing vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
  • Developing and preparing learning and development resources and programmes
  • Engaging with learners and employers to facilitate learning provision and workplace development
  • Identifying individual and organisational learning needs
  • Quality assurance of assessment
  • Preparing for coaching, mentoring and personal tutoring roles

You need to complete 36 credits, 21 made up of mandatory units and a minimum of 15 from the optional units and must be in a teaching environment to be able to pass the observational elements of the assessment.
