Our Introduction to Caring for Children and Young People is a great introductory course to the childcare and early years sector. This is a great entry-level course for those considering an Early Years Educator qualification.

The duration of this course is 7 weeks.

This course is accredited by NCFE CACHE, a leading awarding organisation, with over 170 years of experience. NCFE is recognised by the UK Department for Education and regulated by Ofqual.

This course would be important for job roles such as:

    • Nursery Worker (£16,000 - £24,000) 
    • Childminder (variable) 
    • Nursery Manager (£23,000 - £35,000) 
    • Youth Worker (£22,000 - £35,000) 

This is an entry level qualification and further study would be required to qualify as an early years educator.

There is Government Funding available for this course as part of the 'Adult Skills Fund'

You must meet the following criteria to be able to study for free:

  • You must currently live in England    
  • You must be over the age of 19   
  • You must not be on an apprenticeship
