Engagement and Enrichment
At LCG Schools, we believe education is about more than qualifications—it’s about developing the whole person.
Inspiring Character. Unlocking Potential. Empowering Futures.
Our Enrichment & Engagement Programmes are designed to build character, resilience and leadership, helping young people grow into confident, compassionate and capable individuals who positively contribute to their communities.
We offer a suite of unique programmes tailored to each stage of a young person’s journey:
Delivered as part of our wider curriculum or as a standalone intervention, our Character Education programme supports learners in developing the essential life skills and values that underpin success—both in and out of the classroom.
EmpowerEd is our dynamic youth development programme designed to help young people explore their identity, develop a sense of purpose, and take ownership of their future.
Our Young Leaders Programme lays the foundation for future leadership by introducing younger learners to key character traits and leadership behaviours from an early age.

Why Our Enrichment & Engagement Programmes Matter
- Evidence-informed: Programmes draw on best practices in youth development, PSHE, and character education.
- Flexible delivery: This can be adapted to suit school needs—from targeted interventions to whole-cohort enrichment.
- Designed for impact: Helps learners re-engage with education, build resilience, and prepare for lifelong success.

What are partners say...

LCG Schools has helped the learning of many of our pupils over the years. Alternative curriculum is so important, as mainstream school isn't for everyone. LCG Schools cares about the welfare and wellbeing of our pupils and not just about them getting a qualification.
Flint High School

LCG Schools offer a great service to our students not only academically but socially, physically, and mentally. LCG Schools has helped out students with self-esteem, resilience and building positive friendships.
Ysgol Maes y Gwendraeth

We are delighted with the provision. All students have made progress and responded very well to the tutors. There is clear communication between the tutor and school staff, which is vital for this type of provision to work successfully.
Haverfordwest High School

This programme is developing our learners' confidence and improving their interactions with peers and staff. The most pleasing aspect is that they are developing a more positive outlook towards their education and prospects.
Ysgol Dyffryn Aman

The pupils engage well with LCG Schools. The staff builds great relationships with the pupils and is friendly and approachable. The pupils gain a solid qualification that is relevant to the future and also enjoy a lot of PT. It's a good mix.
