Long gone are the days where Apprenticeships were the only training option for young people to land their first job within the trades industries. We take a look how apprenticeships are now for everyone.

People are at the centre of everything we do, so we’ve made an important decision to change the pillars upon which our fund was established with the aim of supporting those who are in need of funds more than ever.

Bishop Auckland MP, Dehenna Davison, and Learning Curve Group CEO, Brenda McLeish, were invited to Number 10 today to represent the County Durham, Sunday Times Top 100 company to work for and celebrate the wonderful women of the United Kingdom.

It was announced in August 2018 that those smaller employers – who do not pay the apprenticeship levy would move to the new apprenticeship model. The journey began in January 2020 and employers can now manage some apprenticeships via the apprenticeship service.

We are delighted to be placed in the Best Companies to Work for Top 100 list for the second year running. Our employee count has grown significantly since last year, and given that it’s the staff who submit feedback for this award, it is incredible that even with significant growth we continue to be an amazing place to work.

The next course will run at Learning Curve Group Construction Academy on Skippers Lane industrial estate in Middlesbrough for five days per week over a five-week period and the next cohort starts 2 March 2020.
