Covers how to work effectively as a professional theatrical media make-up artist including: health and safety practice; client care and communication; airbrush make-up to the face; camouflage make-up; media make-up; fashion and photographic make-up; style and fit postiche and the application of prosthetic pieces and bald caps.

This qualification sets the standards that all early years practitioners must meet. You'll learn how to encourage healthy lifestyles for children, how to promote their emotional well-being, and how to support children who are unwell. The course also covers children’s literacy and mathematical skills, supporting younger children's transition to school, and supporting children with additional needs. You'll gain the insight needed to work in a variety of roles such as a nursery nurse, early years practitioner, reception class teacher or nanny, and how to engage in professional development to enhance your career.

The qualification builds on existing knowledge and understanding of hairdressing and develops more detailed and enhanced technical skills. Covers how to creatively style and dress hair, cut hair using a combination of techniques, colour and lighten hair and provide client consultation services.

Develop an understanding of safe working practice and controlling hazards in the salon, and be able to identify those clients suitable for laser and light system treatments
