This course consists of two units: Sepsis Awareness and Wound Care. The first unit covers sepsis, how common it is, and who is most at risk from developing the illness, as well as the symptoms of sepsis and how it is managed and treated. The second unit is about basic wound care and its role in avoiding infections and sepsis, including the importance of infection control and hand hygiene.
